TCL 1/4″–3/8″ (3 m) copper tubing for split-system air conditioners

This pipe set HNT-CU-14-38-M3 consists of insulated copper pipes with diameters of 1/4″ and 3/8″, each 3 m long. It connects the indoor and outdoor units of a split air conditioner and, according to the data sheet, is intended for both cooling and heating operation.

Application

The refrigerant pipework consists of a thin liquid line (1/4″) and a thicker suction line (3/8″). Both are insulated to prevent condensation forming on the cold pipe and to minimise heat loss. The 1/4″ + 3/8″ combination is common for smaller split-system units; the diameters required for your unit are specified in its technical data sheet.
