Quick-Connect air conditioners are split sets in which the refrigerant line is pre-charged at the factory and connected to the indoor and outdoor units via quick-connect fittings. These include sets from Hantech (Elite XA21) and TCL (BreezeIN) with capacities of 9,000, 12,000, and 18,000 BTU, each with a five-meter line.

The guidelines on room size and heating load under Split Air Conditioners indicate which capacity class is suitable for which room. For larger systems serving multiple rooms, multi-split air conditioners are available.
For the sale of a split-system set, Article 11(7) of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 and Section 15(3) of the ChemKlimaschutzV require proof that a certified professional contractor has been commissioned to perform the installation. The ChemKlimaschutzV is a German regulation; the EU regulation is also directly applicable in Austria. This also applies to Quick-Connect sets. Not entirely. The connection and commissioning of the refrigerant circuit must be performed by a certified specialist company, and you must provide proof that you have commissioned such a company at the time of purchase. This also applies to Quick-Connect sets, as they are filled with R32.
