Stäubli Test Probe MC4-Evo 2 - PV-EVO-PST - 32.6073

The test pin PV-EVO-PST from Stäubli (32.6073) is the testing tool for connectors in the MC4-Evo 2 series. It allows you to check, after crimping, whether the contact has locked securely into the insulating part.

Why test?

This test pin makes it easy to check whether the contact of the MC4-Evo 2 has snapped into place correctly in the insulation.

A contact that has not locked into place is often not noticeable when plugging in, but may come loose or slip back later. The probe is inserted from the plug end and pressed against the contact. The test takes seconds and is an essential part of any connection crimped on site.
