Stäubli Stripping Pliers - PV-AZM - 32.6027-410

Stäubli’s wire stripping pliers PV-AZM-410 (32.6027-410) strip PV cables with cross-sections of 4, 6 and 10 mm². According to the manufacturer’s catalogue, they come complete with stripping blades and a length stop.

Application

Before crimping a MC4 contact, the insulation must be removed to exactly the correct length without damaging the strands. The pliers’ length stop ensures that each cable is stripped to the same length. The manufacturer particularly recommends them for the Flex-Sol-Evo PV cable and for stripping small quantities on site.

These hand tools are designed for connecting Stäubli PV connectors to PV cables whilst the system is de-energised. The tool is not suitable for use on live circuits (IEC 60900).
