Stäubli MC4-Evo 2 II connector - PV-KBT4-EVO 2A/6II - 32.0320P0001

The Stäubli coupling socket PV-KBT4-EVO 2A/6II (32.0320P0001) is the MC4-Evo-2 socket from the 2A series for 4 and 6 mm² conductor cross-sections on cables with an external diameter of 6.4 to 8.4 mm. The II version is intended for PV cables with a thicker sheath.

I or II?

The two versions differ only in the cable gland: I for 4.7 to 6.4 mm, II for 6.4 to 8.4 mm outer diameter. If your cable is at the upper end of the range, only the II variant provides a reliable seal. In terms of electrical ratings, the data sheet specifies 45 A at 4 mm² and 53 A at 6 mm² for both versions, in each case at 1500 V DC.

According to the current data sheet, the series is internationally certified to IEC, UL and JET standards and is fully approved for 1,500 V DC; in accordance with NEC 2023, it can only be unlocked using a tool. The contact resistances are less than 0.2 mΩ; the protection rating when plugged in is IP65/IP68.

MULTILAM technology, tried and tested since 2004; UV- and ammonia-resistant; available for field assembly or as a pre-assembled connector; compatible with standard crimping pliers; plug-compatible with the original MC4 family.

Scope of delivery and compatible parts
