When you need the cable

An APX storage tower consists of a battery controller and several stacked modules. If the storage system extends beyond a single tower, the towers are cascaded using this cable, i.e. connected in series to enable communication. According to Growatt, this ensures that the batteries work together harmoniously and that the storage capacity is expanded.

Plan the layout so that the towers are positioned within the 2.5 m cable length of one another. The number of towers an inverter can manage and the order in which they are connected are specified in the installation instructions at Growatt.
