Growatt storage systems come in two designs: plug-and-play units for balcony solar systems and modular battery towers for home systems. Which one is suitable depends on the inverter—a high-voltage storage system requires a hybrid unit that can interface with it.

Plug & Play for the balcony solar system

The NOAH 2000 stores 2 kWh and is installed between the panel and the micro inverter. The NEXA 2000 is an all-in-one unit with a built-in inverter; an expansion module doubles the capacity.

Modular Storage for Home Systems

The APX series operates at high voltage: modules, each with a capacity of 5 kWh, are stacked on a base; a battery management system controls them, and ready-made sets are available from 5 to 30 kWh. The ARK modules each hold 2.56 kWh—the H variants are high-voltage models for SPH and MOD hybrid systems, while the L variant is low-voltage. The AXE 5.0L-C1 is a low-voltage module with 5 kWh; ready-to-use AXE sets are available from 5 to 50 kWh. The Aura 5000 is another storage module with 5.024 kWh and an IP66 protection rating. We list the battery management system and base separately because they are not required again when expanding an existing tower.

Complementing these are the Growatt inverters, the Growatt balcony solar systems as ready-to-use sets, and all storage solutions for inverters.
