General Installation Instructions

• Unplugged connectors must be protected from environmental influences (moisture, dirt, dust, etc.) using protective caps (female connector PV-BVK4, Order No. 32.0716; male connector PV-SVK4, Order No. 32.0717). • Do not connect contaminated connectors to one another
• Connectors must not come into contact with any chemicals

Contaminated/damaged connectors:

• Ensure that the connector is not contaminated by environmental factors (e.g., soil, water, insects, dust).
• Ensure that the surface of the connector is not contaminated (e.g., by stickers, paint, heat-shrink tubing).
• The connector must not rest directly on the roof surface.
• Ensure that the connector is not located at the lowest point of the cabling, where water can accumulate.
• Ensure that the connector does not end up in standing water.
• Ensure that the cable ties are not attached directly to the connector housing.
