SoliTek has tested its modules using the Alumero CLICK 6.8 clamps. At least 4 clamps should be used to secure the modules to the mounting rails. The metal components of the module clamps must not come into contact with the front or rear glass panels. If you choose this type of clamp mounting, use at least four clamps per module; two clamps should be attached to each of the longer sides. Depending on local wind and snow conditions, additional clamps may be necessary to ensure that the modules can support the load.

The torque applied should comply with the mechanical design standard specified by the screw used by the customer. It is recommended to use only certified equipment for the installation of the PV system.

The tightening torque for the Alumero CLICK 6.8 clamps should be between 15 Nm and a maximum of 20 Nm. Typically, a torque of 15 Nm is achieved when two aluminum profiles are joined end-to-end. If using other mounting clamps, please consult the manufacturer’s specifications.
