SAJ BC2-HV1-Battery BMS

The SAJ BC2-HV1 is the Battery Control Unit (BCU) of the high-voltage storage system SAJ B2-HV1. It monitors the battery modules, regulates charging and discharging, and communicates with the inverter via CAN. According to the data sheet, it measures 200 × 626 × 365 mm and weighs 11 kg.

Storage system configuration

A SAJ B2 storage system consists of this controller and between one and five battery modules BU2-5.0-HV1 (102.4 V, 50 Ah). This allows for storage systems with a nominal energy capacity of 5.0 to 25.0 kWh; 90 per cent of this is usable, i.e. 4.5 kWh per module. The modules are LiFePO4 batteries; the controller and modules have protection class IP65 and can be mounted on a wall or on the floor. The firmware can be updated remotely.
