K2 Systems According to the K2 data sheet, the cylinder head bolt M8x20 (2001729) is a hex socket cylinder head bolt with underhead serrations. It is one of the connecting parts of the K2 pitched roof systems and weighs around 13 g.
What the bolt is used for
When tightened, the underhead serrations grip into the contact surface and secure the connection against loosening. According to the K2 drawing, a M8x20 cylinder head bolt with underhead serrations is fitted, for example, to the SingleHook 3S (2003215) roof hook, where it connects the Climber to the base plate. You will need this as a spare part if bolts are missing during assembly or if a component is misaligned.
The flat cylinder head adds hardly any bulk. It is tightened using an Allen key.
