K2 Systems Dome Flat Roof Kit for 2 x PV Modules East-West

This K2 kit contains everything required to mount two PV modules on the K2 flat-roof system Dome 6.10 in an east-west orientation – including two pre-assembled base rail sets and two SpeedPorter for the ballast. The modules are mounted at a 10° angle.

How the kit is put together

The K2 Dome 6 system is a ballasted flat-roof substructure in which modules are mounted in pairs facing each other in an east-west orientation. The included D-Dome 6.10 Base Set is a pre-assembled base rail set comprising 2.48 m of BasicRail, two Dome 6.10 SD, two Dome 6 EndPlates and three Dome Mat S. It is suitable for module widths from 960 to 1170 mm. The Peaks raise the modules, whilst the DomeClamp end clamps secure them to the frame (30–50 mm frame height).

SpeedPorter are fitted in pairs onto the BasicRail and can each pair support up to approximately 40 kg of ballast. The amount of ballast required for your roof is determined by a structural analysis or ballast calculation specific to the site.

Materials

Aluminium EN AW 6063 T66, stainless steel 1.4301 and A2-70, TPC and EPDM Shore 70 (building protection mats). All components come with a 12-year product warranty.
