The K2 BasicRail 22 is a high-quality aluminum mounting rail specifically designed for mounting photovoltaic systems on trapezoidal sheet metal and sandwich panel roofs. With a length of 5.95 m, it provides a stable base for module mounting and is a central component of the proven K2 BasicRail System.
NOTE: For proper installation on trapezoidal sheet metal, matching sealing strips (e.g., K2 Isobecker) and self-tapping screws are also required. Use only original components from K2 Systems to fully maintain the structural integrity and warranty of your mounting system.
High flexibility: Thanks to the optimized geometry of the BasicRail 22, PV modules can be securely mounted in both portrait and landscape orientations. The rail is screwed directly to the roof surface, enabling fast and cost-effective installation.
Thanks to the use of high-quality aluminum, the rail offers excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life, even under demanding weather conditions. The structural design can be easily validated using the K2 Base planning tool.
