The sets on this page feature an outdoor unit with 18,000 BTU (approximately 5.1 kW) and two wall-mounted units, each with either 9,000 or 12,000 BTU. All units provide both cooling and heating.

Hantech currently offers the H-Pro series with two indoor units of 9,000 BTU or of 12,000 BTU, and TCL the BreezeIN with two indoor units of 9,000 BTU. According to the energy label, these three cool with a SEER of 6.2 (class A++) and heat with a SCOP of 4.0. Only one outdoor unit stands at the house instead of two.
Installation and commissioning should be handled by a certified professional, because the refrigerant lines must be connected to both indoor units; the process is described in Professional Installation of Your Air Conditioner. Systems for multiple rooms are listed under Multi-Split Air Conditioners. For a single room, a split air conditioner is sufficient, such as the 12,000 BTU split air conditioner.
