Hot water
Reliable supply for the bathroom and kitchen (0.1 to 0.3 MPa).

Heating
Powerful heat up to 15 kW, even in extreme cold.

Cooling
Active cooling up to 16 kW for a perfect summer climate.
R290 refrigerant
Sustainability without compromise. With a global warming potential (GWP) of just 3, propane (R290) actively protects the climate and already meets all strict EU standards today.

80°C Flow Temperature & A+++ Efficiency
A milestone for retrofitting existing buildings: With a flow temperature of up to 80°C, this system covers over 98% of European heating scenarios. Thanks to state-of-the-art inverter technology, we achieve the top A+++ rating.

Precise 3-Zone Control
Maximum comfort for every floor: Control up to three heating circuits (e.g., radiant floor heating, radiators, hot water) completely independently of one another.

Winter-Ready & Smart Switching
Harsh winters are no obstacle: Full functionality down to -25°C. The intelligent Smart Switching feature compares electricity and gas prices and automatically switches to the most economical mode.

Your heating system does exactly what you say
Smart convenience via app: Easily adjust the temperature while you’re on the go. Our intelligent IoT service also enables real-time monitoring and remote diagnostics.

PV-Ready & Smart Grid
Use your own electricity. Thanks to the SG Ready interface, the heat pump communicates directly with your photovoltaic system to make optimal use of free solar power.

L-Type Design: Greater Efficiency
The L-Type design is all about efficiency: Its special construction allows significantly more energy to be extracted from the outside air. The result is up to a 10% increase in output.

A Revolution for DIY Installers
- ✓ No refrigeration license required: Hermetically sealed at the factory.
- ✓ Easy installation: Water-side connection only.
- ✓ Plug & Play: Many components, such as the 3 kW auxiliary heater and the high-efficiency pump, are already pre-installed in the housing.

How It Works
A heat pump works like a refrigerator—only in reverse. It extracts energy from the outside air, compresses it, and transfers it to your home as heat. The Hantech generates up to 5 kWh of heat from 1 kWh of electricity.

Frequently Asked Questions & Safety
Is my house suitable?
The rule of thumb: If your home heats up on cold days with a flow temperature of approximately 55°C, the heat pump operates efficiently. Thanks to its 80°C reserve, the Hantech R290 is also ideally suited for existing buildings without underfloor heating.
What happens during extreme frost?
The system operates reliably down to -25°C. An integrated 3 kW heating element serves as a safety net, ensuring it stays comfortably warm even in extreme sub-zero temperatures.
Is the heat pump too loud for neighbors?
Thanks to high-quality GMCC inverters, the unit is barely any louder than a modern refrigerator when in operation. In Silent Mode, the noise level drops to a whisper (approx. 35–38 dB).
Do I need to install underfloor heating?
No. In most cases, simply replacing individual radiators with more powerful low-temperature models is sufficient to achieve full efficiency. Thanks to the high flow temperature of 80°C, existing radiators can often even continue to be used.
Pre-Purchase Checklist
✓ Is there an outdoor installation site available (foundation)?
✓ Is an electrical connection (400V) feasible?
✓ Was the 55°C flow test successful?
✓ Can a wall opening be planned?

Disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment
Electrical appliances do not belong in household waste. You can return old appliances free of charge to municipal collection points or register them with us for take-back. The crossed-out wheelie bin means the appliance must be collected separately.
