High-Voltage Storage for PV Systems

A high-voltage storage system connects its battery modules in series and therefore operates at high DC voltage at the hybrid inverter. This page features high-voltage sets ranging from 5 to 30 kWh and individual modules ranging from 2.56 to 5 kWh. The systems are from Growatt, Fronius, and Trina Solar.

Systems and Expansion

Growatt APX is available as a kit ranging from 5 to 30 kWh, consisting of modules rated at 5 kWh each; Growatt ARK HV features modules ranging from 2.56 kWh to 25.6 kWh. Fronius Reserva is built from modules rated at 3.15 kWh and, according to the catalog, ranges up to 15.8 kWh; Trina TRBM also uses modules rated at 2.56 kWh. The individual modules use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells.
