Hantech 12K Mobile Split Air Conditioner (2.5 m tubing) – HNT-PAC12VM25JH270-S

The Hantech 12K Mobile Split Air Conditioner HNT-PAC12VM25JH270-S consists of an indoor and an outdoor unit, connected by a 2.5 m long, flexible refrigerant pipe. It cools and heats at a rate of 12,000 BTU each, operates with the refrigerant R290 and, according to the product documentation, is designed for rooms up to approximately 42 m².

The principle

Unlike a monoblock unit with an exhaust hose, the compressor is located outside: the outdoor unit sits in front of the window, and so does the noise. It is positioned on the window using a metal bracket supplied with the unit; according to the product documentation, no permanent structural alterations to the window or wall are required. It is suitable for standard windows, French balconies and skylights, as well as for offices. The unit can also be used whilst on the move, for example in a tent, van or caravan.
