What n-Type i-TOPCon Specifically Offers

n-type technology is the successor to PERC. It offers two advantages: higher efficiency and—often more important in practice—a better temperature coefficient. When the module heats up in the summer, its output drops less sharply than with conventional modules. Calculated over the course of a year, this has a noticeable impact on yield per kilowatt-peak.

When designing the system, it is important to note that the 210-mm cells carry higher currents than older formats—string planning and the choice of inverter should take this into account.
