From rooftop systems to solar farms

Sungrow manufactures hybrid inverters, string inverters, and modular battery storage systems for photovoltaic installations of all sizes. For residential applications, the SH-RTseries is most commonly used, which can be directly combined with stackable SBR high-voltage batteries—the capacity thus adapts to demand rather than the initial design.

For commercial rooftop systems, the SG-CXseries is available with high input currents for large-format modules and up to twelve MPP trackers. This allows even complex roof layouts to be accommodated by a single unit, rather than having to split them across multiple inverters.

Backup Power Without an Additional Box

The SH-RT hybrid units include a backup function: In the event of a power outage, the inverter provides three-phase power—without the separate transfer box that other systems require for this purpose. The switchover time is less than 20 ms, allowing many devices in the home to continue operating without interruption. The WiNet-S module combines Ethernet and Wi-Fi in a single dongle and transmits data every ten seconds.

PID recovery for module regeneration, AFCI arc fault detection, and enclosures in IP65 or IP66 round out the safety features.

ACTEC carries Sungrow inverters and battery storage systems for residential customers and professional installers. The devices can be combined with virtually all module brands in the product line—a significant advantage for professional installers who don’t want to have to re-evaluate each project from scratch.
