JA Solar modules: glass-glass with N-type cells

We stock glass-glass modules from JA Solar with N-type cells: the JAM54D40 series with 460, 465 and 470 W and the JAM60D41 with 500 W; the JAM54D40 models with 450 and 455 W are currently unavailable. The modules can be found under JA Solar Modules; the JAM60D41 is also included in balcony solar system kits, whilst other JA Solar modules are included in complete PV kits.

Bifacial or monofacial

The 450 W and 455 W modules (ending in LB, currently out of stock) are bifacial, meaning they also utilise light falling on the rear side, with efficiencies of 22.5 per cent and 22.8 per cent. The 460, 465 and 470 W modules (ending in LR) are monofacial double-glass modules with an efficiency of 23.0 to 23.5 per cent. The JAM60D41 LB is a bifacial full-black module with 120 half-cells and an efficiency of 22.6 per cent.

Warranty

According to the data sheet, JA Solar offers a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty on the JAM54D40 series modules; the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions apply. The warranty for the JAM60D41 can be found on its product page.
