PowerOcean: Inverter and Storage as a Single System

With the PowerOcean series, EcoFlow isn’t building individual components, but rather a cohesive energy system: a three-phase hybrid inverter, scalable LFP battery storage, and integrated energy management. The inverter converts the PV DC current while simultaneously controlling how much excess power goes into the storage system.

The high-voltage architecture keeps current levels—and thus losses—low. The storage capacity can be expanded modularly without replacing the inverter— so the system grows with consumption, not with the initial design.

An ecosystem instead of individual devices

The real difference lies in the connectivity: From the Smart Plug to the hybrid inverter, all components communicate via a single platform. The PowerInsight Home Energy Monitor serves as a dashboard in the living space and automatically optimizes self-consumption—it activates appliances such as the PowerGlow heating element precisely when surplus energy is available, thereby reducing grid consumption without any action required by the user.

EcoFlow at ACTEC

ACTEC carries EcoFlow products for residential customers and professional installers. Suitable for residential photovoltaic systems requiring storage, commercial installations, and projects where backup capability is required. For professional installers, this means a pre-configured system instead of a storage solution pieced together from third-party components.
