R32
Why switch to R32?
According to EU Regulation CE 517/2014, R410A is being phased out and replaced with non-fluorinated gases (F-gases) such as R32 for environmental reasons. Lower charge quantities are required, and the gas can be more easily recycled and reused.
Environmentally Friendly
Positive effects include no impact on the ozone layer and a reduced contribution to global warming. A transition period for R410A will be granted starting in 2017—as of 2025, imports for systems with a charge of <3 kg will be prohibited. As a simple refrigerant, rather than a compound, R32 can be easily recycled and reused. This makes it environmentally friendly.
