Why Switch to R32?
Under EU Regulation CE 517/2014, R410A is being phased out and replaced with non- gases (F-gases) such as R32 for environmental reasons. These require smaller fill quantities and can be more easily recycled and reused.
Environmentally Friendly
Positive effects include no impact on the ozone layer and a reduced contribution to global warming. A transition period for R410A will be granted starting in 2017—as of 2025, imports for systems with a charge of less than 3 kg will be prohibited.
