An off-grid inverter, also known as a stand-alone inverter, supplies power to consumers from solar panels and a battery without being connected to the mains. It is designed for use in garden sheds, workshops, holiday homes or cabins. The range includes two single-phase units from Growatt with an output voltage of 230 V.

The SPF 3500 ES is suitable for smaller loads and a single roof area. The SPF 6000 ES Plus has two module inputs and can handle almost double the module power. Both units are protected to IP20 and should be installed in a dry indoor location, not on an external wall. The data sheet for each unit specifies which batteries the manufacturer approves for use.
