Battery-Inverter Sets - Intelligent Control
These sets combine an inverter with a battery storage unit from the same manufacturer. For the rooftop system sets, the inverter, battery modules and BMS unit are supplied in a single order, rather than each component having to be sourced separately. The range includes sets from Solplanet and Trina for rooftop systems and a Growatt for balcony power plants.
Solplanet ASW 10kH-T3 with 10.24 to 20.48 kWh
Five kits combine the Solplanet ASW 10kH-T3 three-phase hybrid inverter with the Ai-HB G2 Pro high-voltage storage system. Solplanet has approved the inverters in the H-T2 and H-T3 series exclusively for use with Ai-HB storage systems. The storage system consists of a BMS unit with a base and four to eight battery modules, each with a capacity of 2.56 kWh:

Eight modules is also the maximum number for a single tower. A smaller set can therefore be expanded later with individual modules up to 20.48 kWh. The inverter has a rated power of 10 kW, three MPP trackers and, according to the data sheet, can handle up to 15,kWp of module power. It is protected in accordance with IP66, whilst the battery modules comply with IP65; the manufacturer’s warranty is ten years in each case, and the data sheet specifies 8,000 charge cycles for the modules.
Trina TRH with approximately 10,kWh
Two sets combine a Trina hybrid inverter with a storage system comprising four Trina battery modules TRBM-2.5K-H – each rated at 2.56 kWh according to the data sheet – and the TRBC control unit. The TRH-6K-T2 has a power rating of 6 kW and two MPP trackers, rated for up to 9 kWp module power according to the data sheet. The TRH-8K-T3 has a power rating of 8 kW and three trackers for up to 12 kWp. Both are three-phase and protected in accordance with IP66.
Storage kit for the balcony power plant
The set comprising the Growatt NOAH 2000, the NEO micro inverter 800M-X and a 5-metre-long Schuko cable equips a balcony power plant with 2.048 kWh storage capacity. Set or individual components
If you’re planning a new installation and need both an inverter and a storage unit at the same time, choose the set. If you already have a hybrid inverter, buy compatible battery modules for your inverter individually, provided they’re listed in the device’s storage compatibility list. For photovoltaic systems and their essential components, no value added tax is charged where the conditions of Section 12 (3) of the German VAT Act (UStG) are met. You state during the ordering process whether they apply to you.
Frequently asked questions about inverters with storage
How large should the battery be in relation to the inverter?
The key factor is consumption in the evening and at night, not the size of the system. With the Solplanet, you can start small and later expand up to 20.48 kWh, as each module adds 2.56 kWh.
Can I connect a different storage unit to the Solplanet ASW 10kH-T3?
No. Solplanet only approves the H-T2 and H-T3 series for use with its own Ai-HB storage systems.
What else does a storage system include apart from the battery modules?
A BMS unit, which monitors the charging and discharging of the modules, and a base on which the tower stands. In the Solplanet sets, the base is included in the BMS unit; in the Trina set, the TRBC control unit is included.
